How much will the deposit be and what happens to it once it is paid?

Your deposit will be equal to one month, on some properties six weeks, rent. This is held by Doorknobs in a bonded client account and remains there through out tenancy. When you move out your Doorknobs will arrange a final inspection to ensure that the property has been left in a good condition. Provided that everything is satisfactory and that the keys have been returned and the rent due is up-to-date, we will refund the deposit to you by cheque or by direct transfer into your bank account.
