Who insures the property and contents?

It is the landlords responsibility to insure the building and the landlord’s contents. Extended cover is advisable and this will provide accidental damage cover and cover for theft by tenant. Public liability cover on both buildings and contents is also required. It is the tenants responsibility to insure their own possessions.
