Golf
Keen golfers will find plenty of courses to challenge them in Kent and East Sussex, including the internationally famous links course Royal St George’s that hosted the Open Championship in 2003. The Royal Cinque Ports Club hosted the Open Championship in 1909 and 1920 although it is still used as the final qualification course when the Open is held at Royal St George’s.

One course that is particularly liked by local golfers is Lamberhurst Golf Club, described by many as the finest parkland course in Kent. The River Teise bisects the course which you have to cross on the challenging Par 5 13th hole.
