Speldhurst is a small village two to three miles WNW of Royal Tunbridge Wells and West of Southborough & High Brooms. There has been a settlement there since before the Norman Conquest. Speldhurst is close to several famous local landmarks including Penshurst Place and Groombridge Place.
Within the village you’ll find a Victorian primary school, a church with famous Burne Jones & William Morris stained glass windows and the George & Dragon the second oldest Inn in England, dating back to 1212 and now a popular gastro pub.
