Katie Chamberlain

Director - MARLA, MNAEA, MAAT
Katie began her career with Doorknobs back 2006 and was the first child of Karen & Brian to join them in the running and management of Doorknobs. Gaining her qualification in accountancy with distinction she manages and runs the accounts, sending on rents, paying contractors, working with our client’s accountants for their annual tax returns, as well as assisting with the marketing and further progression of Doorknobs. With her qualifications in both the NAEA and ARLA, Katie is fully knowledgeable of the property law, regulation and knowledge of the property market, she is an asset for Doorknobs.

Jack Thrower

Branch Manager - MNAEA
Being with Doorknobs since 2009 and a fellow family member, Jack has formed strong relationships with our clients, and has many returning clients due to his personable and professional approach. He is involved in the development of the company, as well as the marketing and promotion of Doorknobs along with managing client relationships, and generating new business. With his qualification in the NAEA, he has an extensive knowledge of the property market, and uses this to be able to expand and grow Doorknobs. Jack is able to offer new and existing clients plans and connections in order to make their property portfolio grow, not only in purchasing other investments but also increasing the capital growth within their current property portfolio.

Jodie Walker

Property Manager
Jodie has been with for Doorknobs since 2010 and heads up the property management department for Doorknobs. Her vast knowledge of the property industry gives our clients the confidence in trusting Doorknobs to manage their investment portfolio, she provides excellent customer service and works day and night to provide our 24 hour emergency service to our tenants. Jodie has built up relationships with our management Landlords over the years giving them complete satisfaction that they are in the best hands. Jodie is fundamental in retaining our management portfolio, and successfully achieves this which secures Doorknobs future.

Sophie Watson

Senior Property Negotiator - MARLA
As our senior property negotiator, Sophie undertakes her role with a personable and professional service, and exceeds in customer relations. She works closely with her fellow negotiators and clients to ensure that our sales and rental properties get let and sold quickly, and is handled with the upmost professionalism and care. Sophie has successfully qualified with the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) exams. Her passion for property is excelling herself in her knowledge of the property market.

Lucy Black

Property Negotiator
Lucy’s role as a property negotiator has been well exceeded with her background in customer service, as she not only offers a great service to our clients through the letting process, but also excels herself within other administrative roles ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service all round. Lucy is currently in the process of studying for her Association of Residential Letting Agent exams (ARLA).

Lisa Funnell

Property Maintenance Co-ordinator
Lisa joined our team in 2018, where she is working closely with our Property Manager and the lettings team in ensuring the smooth running of our ever busy Lettings Department. Lisa is diligent about all aspects of her work and will go the extra mile to resolve problems for landlords and tenants.

Elliott Emanuel

Property Viewer
Elliott joined the Doorknobs team in 2017. His main role includes conducting property viewings, reporting back to the office with feedback and offers. Elliott has a bubbly and professional personality. Building a rapport with clients comes easy to him.

Karen Thrower

Managing Director
Karen has the skills in knowing what drives the company forward to be a successful company, and 30 years on we are rapidly expanding the Doorknobs property portfolio and team. Doorknobs in the last year has been number one in new instructions, available properties and the most let properties* clearly giving us and our clients satisfaction that we are running a successful business. Karen is responsible for the growth in this company alongside her fellow members, she also sees the tenants into the properties ensuring that they have a personable service, and ensuring that their time with Doorknobs is a happy one.

Brian Thrower

Director
Brian’s extensive business knowledge has provided Doorknobs with the foundations of a successful business, incorporating new marketing strategies, he guarantees a successful marketing approach to ensure that the company and our properties have maximum exposure. Brian heads up the marketing and growth plans for Doorknobs, as well as conducting inventories on our properties, ensuring our clients asset protection, as well as ensuring tenants will be fully satisfied with the property before entry. Giving not only our Landlords satisfaction but our tenants. Along with the marketing and inventories, he adds to the strength within our team giving us the support and guidance from his extensive and successful business history.
